We are currently seeking an experienced Events Manager, who will report to the Head of Commercial Services.
The Events Manager will play a vital role in the Commercial Department, from marketing and managing the current events portfolio to developing new concepts/themes for future events.He/she will create and manage budgets, identify and source speakers, design marketing material, sell all events and ensure that all financial targets are met.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years event management experience, a proven track record sourcing and managing sponsor relationships and managing budgets. This position involves liasing with various departments within the organisation and external parties. The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and negotiation skills and attention to detail is also a prerequisite for this role.

Public Relations Manager
Our client, a large multinational blue-chip company located in the Dublin area, now seek a Public Relations Manager to develop and implement a communication strategy focused on influencers and general population to enhance awareness as a provider of innovative health solutions.
Responsibilities:
Increase disease awareness though the development of a communications strategy towards patients and the general public.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as patient organisations, journalists, consultants, health care organisations etc.
Develop understanding of the environment re access, pricing and advise on future requirements
Support the Commercial teams in the development, coordination and implementation of the Market Development, PR and Communications strategy for core products.
Manage budget allocated to the projects; ensure projects meet market needs and priorities.
Manage media events, including third party services and suppliers, writing releases and reports.
Requirements:
5 years experience in public relations / marketing, preferably in healthcare or Science.
Public Relations Qualification is an advantage
Proven experience in public awareness, media and professional relations as well as corporate and public affairs.
Strong media experience with relationship in the lay and medical media an advantage
Experience of developing and managing PR program with multiple stakeholders
Should have excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communications skills and be an effective negotiator and networker.
Knowledge of the Political environment, particularly as it relates to healthcare, an advantage
