Public Relations Manager

Role(s): PR account executive/ Events & Promotions Manager/ Corporate Communications Executive

Job Description:

Our client, a world leading pharmaceutical company, currently has a vacancy for a Public Relations Manager to be based at the company facility in Dublin.

Primary Objective:
- Develop and implement a communication strategy focused on influencers, patients, patient organisations, healthcare providers and general population to enhance awareness re diseases and Company as a provider of innovative health solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Increase disease awareness though the development of a communications strategy towards patients and the general public
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as patient organisations, journalists, consultants, health care organisations etc. and collaborate on programs that will raise the awareness and support for new treatment options
- Cooperation with local patient organisations and help develop collaborative strategy to enhance awareness and understanding of disease (i.e. set up meetings, support articles in local media, develop specific patient materials etc.) specifically in the area of immunology
- Increase Disease awareness through the development and execution of innovative and high impact communication strategies and methods for patients and the general public (including development of materials, contact with PR agencies etc.).
- Develop understanding of the environment re access, pricing and advise on future requirements
- Conduct market research with stakeholders
- Support the Commercial teams in the development, coordination and implementation of the Market Development, PR and Communications strategy for core products. Manage budget allocated to the projects; ensure projects meet market needs and priorities.
- Manage media events, including third party services and suppliers, writing releases and reports.
- Provide input to the development of the External Affairs capability in Company (including corporate affairs, government relations and strategic stakeholders within the HSE) and the development of an integrated EA strategy in line with the Affiliate 5 year plan.

- Experience of working to deadline and on multiple tasks
- Experience of developing and managing PR program with multiple stakeholders
- Should have excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communications skills and be an effective negotiator and networker.
- Knowledge of the Political environment, particularly as it relates to healthcare, an advantage

Our client, a leading National Newspaper, currently have a vacancy for an Advertising Sales Executive to be based in their Dublin offices.
Job Purpose: Responsible for maximising advertising sales revenue both online and in print.
Main accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Selling by telephone, taking bookings and writing advertising copy, designing adverts, selling campaigns and development within the Web.

- Planning and maximising client campaigns and budgets, proofing advertisements, marking copy.

- Maintaining accurate client files and records as required.
