Event Manager
Jemma Publications is a leading media company specialising in business to business magazines and events. We are looking for an Event Manager to join our dynamic team.
The Role: As Event Manager you will be required to plan, coordinate, market and manage our existing events. You will also be responsible for growing this division within Jemma Publications through the development of additional events via awards, seminars and conferences that can service the market sectors that we currently operate in.
Requirements: This role requires a multi-skilled approach. The successful candidate will need strong IT and administration skills, a flair for sales and marketing and an excellent ability to manage projects. Experience within Event Management and/or a 3rd level qualification will be a definite advantage.

We are seeking to hire an events co-ordinator for a client company.
It is a start-up which will be working with one of Ireland’s leading media companies as their preferred events partner.

Marketing Support Executive

Key Objectives & Responsibilities
This role entails supporting Setanta’s marketing and client service functions. As part a small team in a dynamic environment the job holder will be expected to be cover other marketing responsibilities, in addition to those outlined below, as they arise.
- Client reporting:this includes preparation of transaction reports, gathering information for input to market commentaries and delivery of information to client Intranets.
- Preparing marketing materials including fund factsheets and presentation materials
- Maintaining Setanta’s website
- Collating Fund statistics
- Updating Fund information on consultant databases
- Completing questionnaires (RPFs) associated with manager searches
Skills Required:
- Ability to communicate (in writing and verbally) to a high standard
- Strong numerical ability & and an understanding of financial markets
- Have a high level of accuracy and a good attention to detail
- Positive & flexible attitude
- Excellent PC skills
Experience / Qualifications:
Experience in financial services is an advantage
A financial degree / qualification
This position will be of interest to graduates with some experience in financial services, who are keen to develop their career in the fund management industry. As one of our major clients is based in Germany, a working knowledge of the German language would be an advantage, but it is not a prerequisite.

PR / Event Management Volunteer Work
Womens rugby in Ireland is one of the fastest growing ladies sports in Ireland. The National Teams success in the past 5 years has quickly secured its support from the men’s union. The national ladies team
Finished 8th in the world cup in Canada 2006 and are progressing further up the ranks each year in their 6 nation championship. Both the men’s and women’s 6 nations championship are now officially sponsered by IRB.
The IWRFU does not have one base as a result of involvement from players, coaches and mangers nationally.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, go getter to promote our national team. Someone who sees a challenge, likes to get the best out of it and doesn’t take no for an answer.
