Niall Mellon Township Trust – Head of Fundraising
About us:
The Niall Mellon Township Trust is the fastest growing charity in Ireland.
Our charity employs private sector thinking and approaches in all of our work. This year we will build 7,000 homes, valued at €35 million, for the poorest people in the townships of South Africa.
We are committed to the spirit of volunteerism from Ireland. Over 3,000 people have volunteered overseas with our charity to date. 2,000 volunteers will work overseas in 2008. Our charity employs 70 full time staff and 1,750 sub contracting staff in South African.
The Role:
We are looking for a determined, delivery focused, professional to lead our fundraising team.
This exciting senior management position will strategically position the charity to take full advantage of a rapidly growing profile and all potential fundraising opportunities, including volunteer community fundraising, major donor support and commercial sponsorship.
The successful candidate will drive current levels of income significantly over the next five years while implementing models of good fundraising practice and professionalism.

National Fundraising and Development Manager – Irish Guide Dogs
About us:
The Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind provides training for blind / vision impaired people and autistic children; that will help change lives.
It’s key services, in addition to its well know Guide Dog programme include; Assistance Dogs for families of children with Autism, Child Mobility, Orientation and Mobility Training and Independent Living Skills Training. The organisation has significant expansion plans and is now recruiting an individual who can lead our ambitious fundraising & development efforts.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will be an experienced senior manager with a proven track record in business development or fundraising and a working knowledge of marketing and communications.
They will have the capacity to significantly increase the level of donor support by developing all income streams including corporate support, committed giving, legacies and on-line donations.
This individual will lead our current fundraising team based in Cork, Tuam and Dublin. They will report directly to the CEO and contribute to the overall strategic development of the Guide Dogs as a member of the senior management team.

Supporter Relations Coordinator – Trocaire
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of our Supporter Services and will lead Trócaire’s Regular Giving programme. This role will coordinate relevant teams, channels and information to enable Trócaire to provide the best standards in supporter services and to retain support. The role will provide strategic direction to the Supporter Relations programme, ensuring reliable systems, processes and procedures for interaction with supporters are in place.
A collaborative working style; excellent verbal and written communication skills; a track record of managing teams; and an ability to innovate and deliver proven support systems are essential to the success of this role.
Candidates should have a experience in working in a customer care or marketing function with a knowledge of relational databases, spreadsheet packages and the ability to set up, manage and streamline systems and processes aimed at providing an excellent service to supporters; and relevant experience in leading and managing a team.
