Candidates should be highly motivated and enthusiastic and possess the following:
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a PR agency
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, essential
- An interest in working with luxury hotels and a knowledge of the hospitality industry is preferable
- A good understanding of the media
- An ability to work well under pressure and to work to deadline, particularly for the writing of press releases and other copy.

Marketing Communications Manager – RDS
This role is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the Marketing and Communication Strategy for the RDS. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, responsibilities include:
- Initiate, develop and execute the RDS Commercial, Foundation and Membership
- Marketing/PR strategy and produce Marketing/PR plans;
- Develop and manage marketing, promotional and advertising campaigns
- Manage and further develop services for RDS Members;
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the Media Centre during the Annual Dublin Horse Show;
- Develop sponsorship proposals and attract sponsors for RDS activities;
- Budget management.
The successful candidate will be a confident, astute, detail-conscious individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A people orientated motivator, with the proven ability to deliver results and positively represent and negotiate on behalf of the RDS. At least 5 years experience within an environment/position similar to the RDS supported by a third level qualification in Marketing or Marketing Communications/PR.

Office Manager & Marketing Executive – Bravo Events
The position will be based in our Dublin Head Office at 48/49 Leeson Street Lower.
The successful candidate will;
- Have a relevant third level qualification
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- A very strong interest in the events industry
- Provide ongoing support to the Managing Director & Finance Director in relation to the general running of the office and provide administrative & HR support
- To closely liaise with and support the Bravo! team members
- Provide ongoing support to the sales & marketing department in relation to general marketing support, customer relationship management duties as well as market research requirements
- Be energetic, creative, results driven and a team player
- Be highly organised, an excellent multi tasker and can work to tight deadlines
- Possess excellent communication skills

Event Manager – Shelbourne Hotel Dublin
Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with sales, hotel departments, and customers to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post event phases of hotel events; primarily handles events of average complexity. Ensures all hotel events have a seamless turnover from sales to service back to sales.
- Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
- Previous experience of events in 5 star hotel
- Experience in food and beverage.
- Effective sales skills to up-sell products and services
-Knowledge of menu planning, food presentation, and banquet and event service operations
- Ability to manage guest room and meeting space inventories
- Broad understanding of facility management (sanitation, maintenance, operations)
- Strong customer development and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect department
- Knowledge of Event Technology products and services
